Chipping Sodbury Students celebrate A Level success as part of Cotswold Edge Sixth form!
Year 13 students from Chipping Sodbury School are today celebrating the culmination of their hard work and efforts with some fantastic post 16 results. Having studied within the Cotswold Edge partnership, an alliance of 3 local schools; Chipping Sodbury, Brimsham Green and Yate Academy, our students received their A Level, BTEC, CTEC and EPQ results today and joined staff in school who were keen to congratulate them on their achievements.
We are particularly pleased with the significant increase in the percentage of students achieving at least a Grade C in their courses and in the increase of students achieving A-A* grades.
We are all incredibly proud of each and every one of our students who have secured results that will enabled them to pursue their chosen next steps including some fantastic places at universities and excellent apprenticeships. These results reflect not only the hard work of our students but the dedication and support of their teachers across the Cotswold Edge partnership.
We would like to draw particular attention to:
Tom H who received an A* and 3 As. Tom will be heading to Bristol University to study theoretical physics.
Lexi B will be going on to study Law and Politics at Queens University in Belfast after achieving 2 As and 2 Bs.
Daisy P achieved an A* in Art A level and will go on to study fine art at UWE next year.
Every student should be immensely proud of their achievements, and we wish them all every success in their next steps.
