The correct school uniform is as follows

Skirt or trousers

Navy blue or black. Skirts may be worn to a limit of 10cms above or below the knee. Trousers must be of a plain straight style, not bootleg. (Denim and corduroy materials are not allowed)

Sweatshirt

Navy blue with school crest. Students may wear either sweatshirt or zip sweatshirt in class. The half zip fleece is intended for use as a coat and not to be worn in school.

Full zip sweatshirt

Half zip fleece

Polo shirt

White with school crest

Socks

Plain navy blue or black

Tights

Girls may wear navy blue or black tights with skirts in place of socks. Tights and socks together are not allowed

Shoes

Plain black flat-heeled shoes (not training shoes)

Jewellery

Limited to a wristwatch and one stud earring per ear in line with Local Education Authority guidelines

Sixth Form

Sixth Form students are not required to wear school uniform but are expected to dress smartly and to set a high standard as an example to the rest of the school

ALL ITEMS OF CLOTHING MUST BE LABELLED WITH THE OWNER'S NAME

Make up must not be worn and it is recommended that long hair is tied back

MOUTH GUARDS  In the interest of Health & Safety, it is advisable that pupils wear mouth guards for certain invasion games, particularly rugby and hockey. Parents may wish to seek advice from their dentist.

PLEASE ALSO NOTE THAT:

No pupil is allowed to wear any item of jewellery for PE. This includes stud earrings

All PE kit should be brought to school in a bag, which should NOT be left in school overnight

All kit items should be clearly and securely marked with the owner's name

All pupils are required to bring their PE kit to every lesson and will be asked to change and to participate in some way
