LIFE DIVISION
“This is a school where every child matters” (OFSTED 2005).
We care deeply about the academic progress of our students, but we also care
deeply about developing them as happy, healthy and successful young citizens.
Throughout the school, a carefully designed curriculum is taught to students to
help them develop personally and academically. This includes taught lessons of
PSHE, Citizenship and Learning-to-Learn.

It also includes a great deal
of cross-curricular work to deliver Citizenship, learning about work and
careers, and developing important employment skills such as ICT and enterprise.
There are also a number of special events and activities including “World of
Work” days, enterprise activities, a week of work experience in year 10, and
special events to support university applications.
