About the Governing Body

The Governing Body has 20 members who are elected or appointed for a four year term, apart from the Headteacher who is a permanent member.

Each year a Chair and Vice-Chair are elected from within the Governing Body to lead the work of Governors, together with a team of Committee Chairs.

Governors are volunteers who represent a wide range of interests. They support the school and devote much time and energy to their work.
 

Governors have adopted a Code of Practice setting out their roles and responsibilities.
