ICT Vision

ICT will make a significant contribution towards:

Personalising the learning experience of our students - engaging them in their school experience so that they become successful learners, confident individuals and responsible citizens.

Creating a flexible learning environment so that resources can be accessed whenever and wherever they are needed, including from home.

Supporting all staff, through professional development, and providing them with the tools for collaboration, management and administration.

Enabling secure and reliable communications between the school and parents.

Teaching and learning in the specialist subjects - Mathematics, Science and Design & Technology.

Developing leading edge provision at KS4 and Post-16.

Priorities for implementing the vision:

Implement the school VLE - OSCAR (Online school Curriculum and Reporting) system - to be a secure, reliable, recoverable, customisable, accurate and user-friendly Teaching and Learning and Parent reporting system.

Undertake regular and appropriate staff training in use of Management Information and Teaching and Learning systems.
