Football Development Programme

Villareal, Spain 31 May to 4 June 2009.

Students and Staff from Chipping Sodbury School took part in a Football Development Programme in Spain in May/June 2009. The Programme involved training sessions, match preparation coaching and match play as well as a behind the scenes tour of the Estadio el Madrigal, home of Villarreal CF.






The aims of the Programme for the students were:

• To improve and develop your football skills
• To challenge yourself physically to do the best you can
• Learn new coaching philosophies
• To trial and develop your Spanish speaking skills
• To gain new cultural and educational experiences and complement and enrich curriculum learning
