Greenpower Success

On Sunday 20th June, three of Chipping Sodbury Schools Greenpower racing cars took part in a national event at Goodwood race circuit. Y-Pod?!, driven by ex-student Alex Hunter, won the F24+ race against stiff opposition.

Our national champion, Rotary Racer also managed to win their F24 race travelling 127.2 miles in the 4 hours to gain a platinum mileage award as well. The team's recent aerodynamic improvements paying off thanks to Gareth's, Dan's and the rest of the team's recent work.

R-PodS SSC were heading for second place until their car received a double puncture. Despite this they managed to get the car back onto the track and finished at a very creditable 5th place.
